Lilli is a proud Mexican American from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine ('20) with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy in May of 2020. At Colby, she was very involved through leading the Mountaineering Club, being on the committee for Colby's outdoor Orientation Trips, working four campus jobs, and heading the college's Divestment campaign. Through this work she developed an interest in renewable energy policy which lead her to the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance through RAY.

She is a proud alumnus of the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program at the University of Washington (DDCSP@UW) and discovered her love of environmental justice through the program. Through DDCSP, she interned at the Sierra Club and Latino Outdoors which sparked her interest in public lands policy which is what she hopes to pursue a graduate degree in after her time with RAY. Outside of work Lilli loves rock climbing, crafting, and reading fiction novels.
