Lilli is a proud Mexican American from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine ('20) with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy in May of 2020. At Colby, she was very involved through leading the Mountaineering Club, being on the committee for Colby's outdoor Orientation Trips, working four campus jobs, and heading the college's Divestment campaign.

She is a proud alumnus of the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program at the University of Washington (DDCSP@UW) and discovered her love of environmental justice and storytelling through the program. Through DDCSP, she interned at the Sierra Club and Latino Outdoors which sparked her interest in public lands policy which is where her passion lies in the environmental field. During undergrad, Lilli also interned at Harvard Law School's Crimmigration clinic where she worked with clients whose criminal convictions had immigration consequences. She hopes to one day combine her passions for the environment and immigration. Outside of work Lilli loves rock climbing, crafting, biking, and reading fiction novels.
