Born and raised in Sacramento, California, I developed an interest in the oceans at an early age. This led me to the University of California - Santa Cruz where I earned a B.S. in Marine Biology in June, 2023. During my studies, I learned about the incredible complexity of the organisms in the oceans which caused my mindset to shift towards conservation. When I think of ocean conservation, I envision NOAA, so I am thrilled to be surrounded by an office that shares my passion for the ocean. I am part of the next cohort of RAY Conservation Fellows in the West Coast Region, and am working with the San Joaquin River Branch as a Natural Resource Specialist where I focus on ESA consultations and aid in developing relationships with stakeholders to advance conservation and recovery of listed species in the San Joaquin River basin.

Outside of my professional and academic career, I have developed a passion for astronomy, reading fiction, playing video games, and staying active.
